Data we collect

We collect first and last name, email, phone number, country, and instructions provided in orders. Documents for translation are used solely to deliver the requested service and are not retained beyond what is necessary.

Payment data is never stored on our servers. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., PCI DSS compliant. The site uses localStorage for cookie preferences.

Purpose of processing

• Deliver ordered translation, interpretation, localisation, and proofreading services
• Send order confirmations, quotes, and project updates
• Respond to contact and quote requests
• Fulfil fiscal and accounting obligations under Italian law

Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent to optional cookies), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations). For confidential documents, we sign separate NDAs on request.

Data retention

Order data is retained for 10 years under Italian tax law. Translated document files are deleted within 90 days of delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Contact data not associated with orders is deleted within 24 months.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection. Write to: hello@panda-translation.com

You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

International transfers

Data may be transferred to Stripe, Inc. (USA) for payment purposes, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses. No other transfers outside the EEA.
