Subtitle translation involves more than just translating what people say. Good subtitles read naturally in the target language while fitting the available reading time, staying in sync with the speaker, and not covering important visual content on screen. Lines that work perfectly as dialogue often need to be restructured, compressed, or split to work as subtitles.
We handle subtitling for films, documentary content, training and instructional videos, corporate communications, YouTube and social media content, and broadcast material. We deliver files in SRT, VTT, ASS, SSA, and other formats depending on what your platform or post-production workflow requires. For broadcast or festival use, we can adhere to specific subtitle formatting guidelines on request.
Accessible captions, which include speaker identification and sound descriptions for deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences, are a separate service that we offer alongside standard subtitling. If you are distributing content on platforms that require accessibility compliance, let us know and we will include this in the project scope.
