Legal translation is not the same as standard document translation, and certified translation is a separate thing again. When a document needs to be submitted to a court, used in immigration proceedings, signed in front of a notary, or accepted by a government body, it usually needs to be accompanied by a sworn declaration from a registered translator. That declaration is the translator's legal attestation that the translation is accurate.
For Italy, this means translations carried out by translators registered with the relevant tribunal. We have a network of registered sworn translators (traduttori giurati) for all major language pairs. The sworn declaration is prepared as part of the service and can be notarized as an add-on if required.
We handle contracts, birth certificates, marriage certificates, driving licences, university degrees and transcripts, court orders, powers of attorney, company constitutions, insurance documents, patent applications, and regulatory filings. If you are unsure whether your document requires a certified translation, tell us how it will be used and we will advise you.

"We had used two other agencies for pharmaceutical translations. Panda Translation was the first to raise specific questions about our regulatory context before starting work. That made a real difference to the output."
